This charming pendant features a large horseshoe, a widely recognized symbol of luck! Edwardians often wore them with the open ends facing upwards so as not to let all the luck fall out. Originally a brooch from turn of the century, it has since been converted to a stunning pendant. The pendant has a beautiful yellow gold back with a sterling silver setting for the paste stones; a lovely mixed metal look! The goldwork has an almost lace-like pattern, and when combined with scallop-edged look of the sterling setting has a super pretty look! The pendant is unmarked for maker, origin or composition but has been tested to confirm it's metal content. The reverse of the pendant reveals evidence of where the brooch hardware once was.
